OneCampus, a lightweight portal and service-discovery tool trusted by colleges and universities of all sizes across North America for over 20 years, now provides a custom web-page builder capability. Known as "Sites and Pages," the new custom page builder supports IT in providing web-resources to stakeholders across the campus who need to create branded website pages without requiring technical expertise for publishers or burdening IT with additional projects to manage. OneCampus leads the portal industry as the only portal that is infinitely scalable, capable of a 6-week implementation, and manageable with less than 1 FTE and at a lower cost than other portals on the market.

OneCampus leverages the expertise of a team that has spent over 2 decades in higher education technology leadership, and was built by IT teams for IT teams.

What is
the Sites and Pages feature?

The sites and pages feature augments OneCampus' intuitive google-like search-and-discover capabilities by allowing administrators with the proper permissions to create custom built, branded webpages.

Why is the addition of Sites and Pages important?

Maintaining multiple websites across various departments can be tedious and take valuable resources from campus IT staff. With the user-friendly ability to create custom Sites and Pages in OneCampus, administrators from any department can incorporate resources from anywhere on the internet. When URLs are included in the campus portal as a Site or a Page, OneCampus' AI-powered search can search the URLs' content and provide the results when users search within the campus portal, simplifying access to resources for all users.

Sites and Pages in OneCampus allow administrators to improve access to campus resources from anywhere and include additional resources from external sites without any required technical or coding knowledge. The WYSIWYG editor, user-friendly Markdown, or HTML makes it simple to create a Site or a Page in minutes, allowing administrators to:

  • Display content in your portal from external sites and campus websites
  • Group related "Pages" into "Sites" to simplify content management and user access
  • Associate "Pages" with "Roles" for precise targeting of resources
  • Redirect internal pages to external resources when needed
  • Embed images, videos, GIFs, and more

With this new capability, any authorized administrator in any department can publish "Pages," analyze service usage, deliver notifications to targeted audience segments, and maintain branding standards without IT support.
